Detecting, tracking, and identifying birds and bats through sound is an important concept throughout the Pacific Northwest. Currently, very little data is available for the region. However, new technology allows individuals to create an affordable, wireless, self-sustaining device that can detect, record, and store/transmit birdcalls.
My role in this project was to design an application which includes branding and interfaces for sensor users. I completed this task by visualizing birds that are native to the Pacific Northwest. A playful quiz game and bird maker will later be added to the application.
